OK - So some of you know, but some of you don't - Wendy and Nicki have started a business. They are in the catering business. This past weekend was their first event (they are starting off with Fairs and Festivals). They were a vendor at the Pumpkin Festival (BBQ, Hot Dogs, Hot Ham and Hot Turkey Sandwiches). They asked Jeremy and I if we wanted to be a part of it and we declined since we have the boys. However, as good siblings do, I offered up my help whenever needed. Well, much to their surprise they were in desperate need of help this past weekend. With Nicki and Nick both having to work their "normal" jobs - Wendy and Jim were going it alone a lot. So Thursday wasn't bad (Nicki worked along with Wendy and Jim) - But then Friday came along and guess what - they were bombarded with customers - so Mom and Lori to the rescue. We worked Friday evening, and all day Saturday. Jeremy and Dad watched the boys. The business (Good Stuff, Good Times) was a huge success. Now Jeremy and I are questioning our decision as to not be a part of this business. They cashed in. They did share some of the wealth for my hard days work - They head to Bridge Day next (October 20th). That will be interesting. I will let you know how that one goes.
