2008 St. Albans Baseball Beach Trip

OK here are a few Highlights (this will probably be a long post) of our trip to Myrtle Beach with the St. Albans Baseball Team. We had a great time - it was chaotic at times and the team didn't play very well but in the end it was a week away from work - with the kids and we did have fun. It was kinda cold for the first several days but we did get on our suits and out on the beach on Friday. I don't know how the kids did it but they actually got wet - the water was like ice. But they had fun and we actually stayed out there a lot longer than we thought we would. Easter Sunday the Easter Bunny hid Easter Eggs at the park and the kids had a ball finding them all.

Then on Monday the guys didn't play until 7pm and it was cold so Missy, Jessica and I loaded up all six kids and went to the Aquarium. They all seemed to have a really good time and we went to Johnny Rockets afterwards for a burger and the kids enjoyed the singing and dacing. Johnny Rockets is one of those old Soda Shop type places and all the wait staff dressed in their white coats and hats every once in a while will start singing and dancing to an old classic.

Bradley is really into Pirates lately so he really enjoyed this exhibit - however he wouldn't get his picture taken with these guys

But he would stand in front of the Ships

As always Missy was prepared and had treats for the kids - This is Bradley after his blue sucker - I thought it was a very cute picture blue lips and all.

Here is the gang at Johnny Rockets
Wesley watching the wait staff dance (sorry I didn't get a picture of them) and Bradley doing his own little dance.
OK now, I forgot my camera on Tuesday at the Game but these are from Wed. and Thursday. We had the kids jackets and shirts done with their last name on them and they all looked so cute. I didn't get one of all of them together - it is hard with six and they did that on Tuesday when I forgot my camera. I hope to get them all in one together sometime at the SA field this season. I am hoping on Saturday but we will see. But anyway the whole reason for the trip was baseball so there are several pictures I couldn't resist posting so there are quite a few.

Now we did get out on the beach on Thursday and Friday. Here are a few highlights of that.

And last but not least a few pictures of some other things we did - we rode rides at Broadway - Bradley took his firt solo flight (first solo ride of any kind) and Wesley had his first Merry Go Round Ride - we also played Putt Putt on Friday night.

Woah! I missed so many posts! I need to get on here more often! SO cute in their Easter outfits, The little boys playing baseball were adorable, hope all your sicknesses stay away. Maybe that was all for 2008 at once. Beach looked like fun. We leave in 10 nights. I hope it goes ok. I am going to put a stop to the aquarium on our itinerary! Looks like Bradley really enjoyed it!
