Finally a Post!

Ok I know it has been about 6 weeks since I posted but I just got around to uploading some pics. We have been busy with baseball, TBall, and just the everyday routine that goes along with work and kids! We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend - it was fun filled at home with lots of good food, good friends, and good fun! But before I get to those pictures or that post I will start with Easter Morning! Like I said in the previous post "The Easter Bunny" left the boys a scavenger hunt to find their Easter baskets! Welsy was a little cranky that morning but when he got to his basket he perked right up!

Easter Pictures

Mom and Wendy brought the kids up last week to take their pictures in the tulips here at the Capital. I wanted to do it as soon as possible since this crazy weather around here I was afraid the tulips wouldn't last for long. And as usual Wendy took 365 picutres so to narrow it down is difficult. Oh and even though she took that many there really wasn't one that stood out as being GREAT of the two of them together! That has to be the hardest task E V E R ! ! ! Anyway, the kids enjoyed Easter we were bad this year and didn't make it to church. We don't set alarms on weekends because the kids are usually our alarms and both decided to sleep til after 9 on Easter Sunday. It was VERY NICE but we didn't have time to get ready and make it to Easter Service. The Easter Bunny had a "scavenger hunt" for the boys to find their Easter Baskets and they really enjoyed that. We had dinner at Nicki and Nick's, it was Easter/Lori's Birthday Dinner! Pork Kabobs, salad and corn on the cob. It was really delish! Here are a "few" of the pictures Wendy took at the Capital.

T-Ball

Bradley started T-ball a couple of weeks ago. He is loving it! He is doing pretty good too! Here are a few pictures of practice. They haven't played a game yet (I think it will be interesting to see) but they have had several practices. Their first game is April 4th and they are supposed to have a big parade to kick things off so that will be fun. I will post pictures of that when it happens.

Bradley had Kindergarten registration yesterday so I took the day off and we had a Bradley/Mommy day. We just did some running around. He was in need of a hair cut so since our usual place was closed we went to WalMart - She chopped him very very very short. I like the cut from a distance but it is really a bad job - plus it is very short and we will have to get his hair cut like every 2 or 3 weeks since his double crown makes it stick up in the back when it is too short. But it is a cute summer cut but it makes him look so much older.

Wesley Wendy Day

While Bradley and I were at the Harlem Globetrotters, Wendy watched Wesley until Jeremy got done with Baseball practice. She just sent me an album of 85 pictures that she took of him in, let's see he was there maybe 3 hours. ;-) They all turned out really cute, Wendy and Jim took him for a walk around the lake and they stopped at the playground for him to play. He is getting so big. I can't believe he is almost 2. Anyway, here are some of the pictures - Enjoy!
Wendy said he LOVED playing with the little pebbles they have on the ground.

Harlem Globetrotters

Bradley, Reece, Tanner, Missy and I went to see the Harlem Globetrotters last night. Bradley really enjoyed it, and he has talked about it nonstop ever since. I had never seen them so it was really fun for me too. Here are a few pictures of our evening.

Bradley's Basketball

Bradley was playing basketball at Riverlawn Church in St. Albans. It is such a good program. First they warm up and practice shooting, then they have a "bible lesson" on some type of quality, like trustworthiness, sharing... Then they play a game, which I had my doubts could actually happen but it did and he loved it. This program was so much better than the basketball he did at the YMCA last year. The Y had regular size balls and regular hoops, just lowered as far as they would go, but they were still way over my head. So Bradley got frustrated because he couldn't get that heavy ball up that high. He ended up not even wanting to go last year. This year at Riverlawn, they use smaller balls and shorter hoops which he loved because he could actually make a basket. It was really neat because he was on a team with Reece, Shawn, Tanner, Joey and Sam. All of which their father's went to St. Albans and were friends. The dad's took turns each week coaching

Basketball was on Saturday's and after the last session they invited everyone to church service on Sunday and then had a very nice luncheon and awards ceremony. Bradley was so excited because he got his first trophy.
We will definitely do this program again.
