I don't think I have really blogged about it but we have been in the process since about Feb. finishing our Bonus Room - Jeremy's parents and a friend of theirs really came through. They pretty much did all the Insulation, Drywall, and Trim and we all learned a little along the way. We still need to do a few things in the closets but other than that it is now done. We got carpet yesterday and it looks pretty good if I do say so myself.
This is the kids space that was supposed to be unfinished storage but it is going to be where all the toys go and they are going to have a tv on the wall so they can watch their shows if we are up there watching a movie or something. We are eventually getting a TV Projector attached to the ceiling and the pull down screen for a home theatre type room.
And for now until we get the TV this is how the main room is set up.
This is the closet that was supposed to be unfinished storage also but we finished it out as well and it will house all the electronics and some Christmas totes that are too big to fit in the attic. We still need to do some trim in this room as you can see.

This is beautiful, Lori! I remember walking through your house and seeing this space that would "one day" be something. I can't believe it!! It seems like you just moved in to me. How fun is that though. Now is this like another family room? It looks so nice. That is going to add lots of value to your (already gorgeous) home!!
