Happy Halloween

We made it out on Tuesday October 30, 2007 for Trick or Treating - Yeah I know most of you all are asking "Why not October 31st?" Well around here for some reason we never have trick or treat on October 31st. I guess they think less destruction will go on if it isn't on the actual day. WHATEVER!!!
But anyway, I had one spiderman who would not keep his mask on - he said no one would know who he was if he had his mask on,
and I had one Tigger.
Wesley didn't make it very far until he decided to take a little "Cat Nap" him being Tigger and all.

We went around our neighborhood - which was the perfect size for a three year old. There is about 30 houses I would say. It took us about an hour and he filled up his little spiderman bucket so he was happy.
Here is Bradley with our neighbors Chase (left) and Nicholas (center), don't they look like they could get into some trouble. :-)

I wanted to take a moment to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nicholas Barry who turned three this past weekend. And looking at the calendar right now I see I missed his mothers Birthday yesterday - Sorry Katie. I only look at calendars on the weekdays - when I am at work. So This is a Happy Belated Birthday to Both. The weekends are not long enough to do all that needs to be done - and spending time with the kids takes priority. I have really been struggling with that lately. Bradley falls asleep in the car every evening and sleeps till morning so I don't get to spend time with him during the week at all it seems - and it just seems so unfair to cram 7 days worth of time into Saturday and Sunday. Plus if we make it to church which is rare these days - I feel like putting him in Jr. Church (which I know is good for him) takes away even more of my time with him. The house takes a back burner - if it gets cleaned it is after they are in bed and that means I am up until midnight or later - not fun when you are already exhausted. I feel like my life is constantly on fast forward - not to mention I can't get anywhere on time these days. Anyway - sorry about my little rant - I just can't find enough time to do it all. Until our next big event . . .

Bradley's 2nd Field Trip (St. Albans Fire Dept.)

On Monday Bradley's class took a second more organized field trip to the St. Albans Fire Dept. Bradley seemed to have a good time - Dad, Mom and Wesley went along to take some pictures. Here are a few I thought were cute.

Fall is (Finally) in the Air

Yesterday was the first day we actually had to wear jackets. It has been so unseasonably hot here - and it finally cooled off yesterday. We didn't make it out of the 60's yesterday I don't think - it was a nice change from the heat. Anyway - Wendy wanted to take the boys pictures so mom took them up to her house - the leaves are starting to change colors and they had a bail of hay left over from the Pumpkin Festival. I emailed some of you the Kodak link - but I wanted to post a few of my favorites.

And now for the Brotherly LOVE

Good Stuff, Good Times

OK - So some of you know, but some of you don't - Wendy and Nicki have started a business. They are in the catering business. This past weekend was their first event (they are starting off with Fairs and Festivals). They were a vendor at the Pumpkin Festival (BBQ, Hot Dogs, Hot Ham and Hot Turkey Sandwiches). They asked Jeremy and I if we wanted to be a part of it and we declined since we have the boys. However, as good siblings do, I offered up my help whenever needed. Well, much to their surprise they were in desperate need of help this past weekend. With Nicki and Nick both having to work their "normal" jobs - Wendy and Jim were going it alone a lot. So Thursday wasn't bad (Nicki worked along with Wendy and Jim) - But then Friday came along and guess what - they were bombarded with customers - so Mom and Lori to the rescue. We worked Friday evening, and all day Saturday. Jeremy and Dad watched the boys. The business (Good Stuff, Good Times) was a huge success. Now Jeremy and I are questioning our decision as to not be a part of this business. They cashed in. They did share some of the wealth for my hard days work - They head to Bridge Day next (October 20th). That will be interesting. I will let you know how that one goes. In the meantime you can check out some of these pictures.

Bradley was helping here and Wesley was just taking it all in

Bradley's 1st Field Trip

Bradley's class went to the Pumpkin Festival in Milton, WV on October 4th. Mom, Wesley and I tagged along. He seemed to have a good time - it was CHAOTIC to say the least. I don't know how they made it home with all the kids. :-) Here are a few pictures - I was trying to video and take pics at the same time so I don't have a lot - just a few.

Maddy's 3rd Birthday Party

We attended Maddy Young's third Birthday Party On September 29th. As always Bradley had a blast - they painted T-shirts, had cake and ice cream and opened gifts. Here are a few pictures of the event. Thanks Stephanie for a very fun time.
